About us

We back independent food to thrive - from the kerb up. KERB is a hospitality organisation born on the streets of London and built to champion brilliant food, bold ideas and independent businesses. Since 2012, we’ve grown from a street food collective into a pioneering operator of food halls, event catering and social enterprise - working with exceptional traders across London, Berlin and beyond. Our mission is to become the most impactful hospitality business in the world. That means curating exceptional hospitality experiences in extraordinary places, creating space for creativity over conformity, and backing underrepresented entrepreneurs to break into - and break through - the industry. We believe our streets, venues and cities should be filled with food that stops you in your tracks - and people who bring their own story, culture and character to the table. Whether it’s 50 or 50,000 guests, indoors or out, we bring unmatched creativity, professionalism and passion to everything we do. ?? LONDON - it’s about time you got a slice of the pie ?????? Meet Cutie Pies - the deep dish Detroit-style pizza slingers bringing their cult favourite pies to the capital for the very first time. After a legendary run on the South Coast, they’ve landed their first permanent London home at KERB Social Club, and we couldn’t be more hyped ??? They’re rewriting the pizza playbook. Square, not round. Crunchy-edged, not chewy. Fluffy, not flat. Get stuck into: ??? Deep dish pies made for sharing (or not) ??? Fluffy garlic and cheese-stuffed dough balls ??? And yes - those famous Cutie Pies fries If indulgence had a postcode, this would be it. ?KERB Social Club launches Friday 1st August ??? Old Spitalfields Market www.kerbsocialclub.com

Simon Mitchell, chief executive of street food collective and hospitality group KERB, has warned there is a widening gap between talent and opportunity for independent operators and has called on landlords to help close it. Writing in today’s (Friday, 4 July) Premium Opinion, which will be available to Propel Premium subscribers at 5pm, Mitchell said: “We all know the challenges. They've been listed a million times – labour shortages, rising costs and shifting consumer habits.” ?? We're so excited to share that KERB is coming to Leyton on Saturday 5 July! This weekend, KERB will make Francis Road, Leyton, its new weekly home, selling street foods with cuisines from all over the world and even fresh produce. The council appointed KERB as the market operators due to their success in delivering international street food markets. They have also committed to supporting local Waltham Forest businesses through their free coaching programmes ?? Cllr Ahsan Khan, Deputy Leader and Cabinet Member for Housing and Regeneration, said: “I'm so excited for the new KERB market to launch on Francis Road. It will be a fantastic destination for locals to shop, eat and socialise. From Mexican to Japanese, visitors can expect to go on a real culinary journey and try flavours from across the world. ''With so many great options on offer, the market will no doubt attract visitors from all over, which contributes to sustainable growth in our borough.'' The Mayor of London has helped support the opening of the market through its 'Summer Streets Fund' to help provide more outdoor dining and drinking locations for Londoner's to enjoy throughout the summer, and Waltham Forest is one of the first four boroughs in receipt of this. KERB Francis Road opens on Saturday 5 July at 10am and closes at 4pm. #localbusiness #sustainablegrowth #streetfood #KERB #walthamforest
